Job Opportunity: Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse

Location: Pinehurst, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Department: Cardiac Stepdown Unit (CSU)
Shift: Nights, 6 PM – 6 AM
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Experience Required: Skills and experience in cardiac stepdown/intermediate level care
Start Date: ASAP
Residency Restriction: Candidate must not reside in Moore County
Holiday Coverage: Facility unable to accommodate return-to-office on major holiday weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement

Additional Notes

Candidate must complete facility-specific modules prior to or shortly after start (up to 21 hours, deadline typically Friday before start)
Physical exam not required by facility but must be collected to meet agency standards (within 1 year)
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
