Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina

Job Description
- Shift: First shift with call, staggered start time between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, 8 hours/day, Monday through Friday
- Call Requirement: Weekends and evenings/nights on call rotation (primary and backup)
- Float Requirement: None
- Weekend Requirement: On call rotation during weekends and evenings/nights
- Daily Case Load: 13-17 cases
- Patient Age Group: Majority adults and geriatrics, some adolescents
- Special Procedures: Neuro (including stroke intervention) and body procedures
- Equipment Experience: Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment required; Acuson preferred
- Orientation: Hospital orientation during week one; full availability required for classes each day
- Scrubs: Provided
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in North Carolina
- Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1 year of experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment (traveler experience required; not a first-time traveler)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Minimum 1 year scrub experience
Additional Information
- Orientation: Missing any portion of orientation may delay or cancel start
- RTO (Return to Office) Policy: No RTO after booking; call-offs or additional RTO may lead to cancellation
- Interview: Manager requires direct candidate interview before offer
- Patient Diagnoses: Requires skill in neuro (stroke intervention) and body procedures
- Documentation: Various background checks, certifications, and compliance documents required prior to start (e.g., background check within 6 months, drug testing within 6 months, immunizations, and training modules)
- Health Requirements: Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, flu vaccination or approved exemption, and other standard immunizations (measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella)
- Compliance: Must complete hospital-specific orientation, medication safety training, confidentiality agreement, and annual compliance training
- Radiation Badge: Required for this role; will be provided as needed
- Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo required immediately after signing contract to avoid start delays
Summary
This is a travel contract position for an Interventional Radiology professional with at least 1 year of specialty and scrub experience, including neuro scrub experience. Prior travel experience is mandatory. The role involves working primarily first shift with call responsibilities on evenings and weekends. Candidates must be fully available for orientation and comply with all required certifications, background checks, and health documentation.
