Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• First time travelers accepted.
• Call requirement: On call every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM.
• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular and neuro vascular interventional radiology (IR).
• Technologist responsibilities include scrubbing both peripheral and neuro cases such as stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neurological studies, and more.
• Department has 4 IR rooms with Siemens single and biplane C-arms.
• Cases include Level 1 trauma, pulmonary embolism, stroke, vascular and neuro interventions (angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, thrombectomy, stent placements, central line insertions).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Indiana
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Registered Technologist certification (ARRT)
