Job Opportunity: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
No weekends or on-call required

Job Description

Perform echocardiograms (ECHO) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
Must have recent experience (within the last 12 months) with Epic electronic health record system (detailed on profile)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a cardiac sonographer within the last 12 months
Certification: Must hold CCI (RCS) or ARDMS (RDCS) credential
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Requirements

Government-issued photo ID must be carried during work hours
Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years, including nationwide and international if applicable
Negative drug screen (10 panel) within 30 days of start
Immunizations and health documents required:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- N95 Fit Mask test within 1 year of start (no PAPR allowed)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations or positive titers
- Hepatitis B titer or vaccination series
- Varicella vaccinations or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (no exemptions accepted)
- COVID vaccination or approved exemption prior to start

References and Documentation

Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
Complete employment application/resume required
Skills checklist as applicable to specialty

Notes

Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate
No prior travel experience required for this position

This position offers a structured weekday schedule with no weekend or on-call duties, ideal for cardiac sonographers with required certifications and Epic experience.
