Job Opportunity: Rehabilitation Therapist - Acute / Inpatient
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Job Description
- Provide physical therapy services primarily in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting, with secondary coverage in ICF/SNF rehab.
- Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned residents/patients.
- Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by attending physicians or consulting specialists.
- Provide consulting physical therapy services as needed.
- Must be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays based on hospital operations.
- Use of EMR system (Meditech) is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Hawaii.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience working with adult patients.
- Experience in Acute Care, Post Acute, and Rehabilitation settings.
Schedule
- Variable shifts including:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Additional Information
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
- Do not accept the start date if unable to arrive on time.
