Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position involves working as an RN in the Emergency Room (ER), Acute Care, and Long-Term Care (LTC) areas of a small critical access hospital with no separate units.
RNs cover all patient care areas as needed.
Shifts: Six 12-hour shifts over a two-week period (72 hours total) with every 3rd weekend off.
When assigned to the ER and no patients are present, the RN will provide backup support in acute and LTC areas.
When assigned to medication administration, the RN will pass medications and perform procedures for both LTC and acute patients.
This facility is not latex-free.
Hours are not guaranteed.
Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
