Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Hood River, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN)
Start: June (1st timers welcome)
Floating: Yes, may float between units based on needs and skill set
On-call: No
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Block Schedules: No
Patient Ratios:
- Labor: 1:1 (AWHONN standards)
- Postpartum: 1:6
Special Requirements:
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Minimum 1 year LDRP experience required; 2 years preferred
Vehicle: Must have a vehicle for assignment
Facility Type: Critical Access / Level III Trauma Center
Total Staffed Beds: 25
Teaching Hospital
Charting System: Epic
Scrub Color: Any color allowed; scrubs provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units
Parking: No fee

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Experience in Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
