Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist
Location: Marion, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Work setting: Outpatient clinic
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Start date: Available immediately
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Indiana
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
Experience
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Radiation Therapy Technologist)
- Years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume entry-level to experienced as per ARRT certification standards
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Criminal background check within 30 days of start (7-year search including SSN trace, counties, national criminal, and sex offender registries)
- Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Respirator fit test within 3 months of start and annually thereafter (exceptions apply for outpatient physical therapy roles)
- Immunizations and titers:
- Tdap (or declination)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months of start
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines; boosters required if negative/equivocal
- Hepatitis B titer or declination (vaccination alone not accepted)
- Drug screening: 5-panel or more within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct-April) unless approved exemption
- Two professional references within 3 years
- Annual skills checklist and facility-specific mandatory training
Additional Notes
- Facility requires completion of annual mandatory training and competencies online (~40 minutes)
- Dress code review required
- IT access form required for all candidates
