Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR
Location: Macon, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Unit Details
- Call schedule: 12-15 days in a 6-week schedule, including a minimum of 2 weekends
- Floating: Within facility/scope of practice including Main OR and other hospital locations as needed
- Weekend: Included in call requirements only
- Holidays: If one major holiday falls during assignment, traveler is expected to work it; if two, both; if three, two of the holidays
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day
- Minimum experience: 2 years in specialty
- First-time travelers accepted
- Orientation hours vary by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
- Full compliance required to start on time; delays may result in a 2-week pushback due to orientation scheduling
- Locals accepted at same rate
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, with CVOR experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are accepted
- Floating assignments may include work in multiple OR locations within the facility system
- Candidates must comply with dress and professional appearance policies
- Candidates must review and sign code of conduct prior to start
- Orientation and onboarding processes are strictly scheduled; delays in compliance may delay start date
- Holiday work expectations apply as noted above
