Description

Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Maternal Fetal

Location: Pinehurst, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Must have at least 1 year of experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine, working with high-risk patients.
Will be working with high-risk patients.
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break (34 hours per week).
ASAP start.

Required Qualifications

Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in North Carolina
Minimum of 1 year of Ultrasound Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients and high-risk patients
Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience
ARDMS-OB/GYN or ARRT(S) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Trophon Certification

Required Documentation & Compliance

Physical exam within 1 year of start (to meet standard, not facility-required).
Immunizations and titers:
- Tdap within 10 years.
- Negative TB test (PPD within 3 months or Qgold/TSPOT within 1 year) updated annually.
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required; boosters if no prior records.
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination.
10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season (11/15 - 03/31). Exemptions require mask-wearing in patient care areas.
Two clinical references required (one must be from a supervisor or higher).
Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable.
Color blindness testing required for all candidates.
Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable.
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for certain units.

Additional Notes

Candidate must carry government-issued photo ID during work hours.
Background checks include social security trace, county, nationwide, national sex offender, and international searches if applicable.
Modules related to facility orientation and safety must be completed prior to or shortly after start date.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
