Location: Akron, Ohio

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
This is a travel contract position for an X-Ray Tech specializing in Radiology/Cardiology.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
Onboarding & Training
- Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start is mandatory.
- Modules must be completed on a computer using Google Chrome; cannot be completed on a phone.
- Training videos must be watched in full before taking tests.
- Badge photo required prior to start for clearance (X-Ray Techs pick up badge on first day).
- Fingerprinting must be completed ASAP due to processing times.
Additional Notes
- Government-issued photo ID required and must be carried while on assignment.
- Background checks must be updated for breaks in service of 2 or more months.
- Physical exam does not need to be updated annually if there is no break in employment at the facility.
- Latex allergy notification required if applicable to ensure availability of latex-free gloves.
- Travelers with a break greater than 6 months between assignments may need to re-complete onboarding modules.
This position requires a dedicated professional with the appropriate licensure, certifications, and compliance with all health and safety requirements to provide high-quality radiology services in an acute care setting.
