Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Home Health)

Location: Elizabeth, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Specialty: Home Health Nursing

Job Details

• Work Setting: Home Health (patient visits in homes or nursing facilities)
• Typical Patient Load: 5-6 visits per day within an 8-hour shift
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Possible rotation of 1 weekend day per month
• Counties Covered: Doddridge, Lewis, Upshur, Barbour, southern portion of Harrison County (Clarksburg Gold Team coverage)
• Common Patient Diagnoses: Terminally ill patients with cancer, heart disease, lung disease, dementia, and other end-stage diseases
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC
• Orientation: EPIC training plus orientation with another physical therapist
• Uniform: Royal Blue scrubs
• Holiday Requirement: None

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 1 year of Home Health nursing experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience in a Home Health setting

Additional Information

• Mileage reimbursement provided at IRS rate
• No outpatient or inpatient hospital work; strictly home health visits
• No pharmacy responsibilities or 24/7 coverage required

This position is ideal for an experienced Home Health RN looking to provide care to terminally ill patients in a community setting with a structured weekday schedule and limited weekend rotation.
