Job Opportunity: Inpatient Physical Therapist

Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• Work in an inpatient acute care setting with semi-complex patients.
• Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and young adults.
• Common patient diagnoses:

  • Orthopedics and Joint Replacement post-operative surgery (preferred familiarity)
  • Neurosurgical and Neurological conditions
  • Cardiovascular cases including CABG patients
  • Vestibular disorders
  • General surgery patients
  • Medically complex and intubated patients in Critical Care
• Schedule:

  • Daytime shifts on Acute Inpatient unit
  • Prefer five 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday with flexible start/end times (8:00-4:30 or 9:00-5:30)
  • If working primarily Monday-Friday, expect 2+ weekend date shifts per month with flexibility
  • Alternative schedule possible: four 10-hour shifts Wednesday-Saturday (7:00-5:30)
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Ohio
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification

Additional Information

• Facility reserves the right to cancel shifts up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract.
• Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation to be honored.
• Scheduling flexibility and adherence to contract terms are critical.

Notes for Candidates

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• This role involves working with medically complex patients in a Level 3 Trauma Center environment.
• Flexibility in scheduling and weekend coverage is expected.
