Location: Abilene, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, call required
Travel Requirement: Must live 150 miles or more from the facility

Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a travel contract position requiring availability for call shifts during the weekday schedule.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement

Additional Information

Orientation includes completion of facility-specific modules (~3-4 hours)
Various facility-specific acknowledgments and agreements must be reviewed and signed prior to start
Candidate must complete required forms related to background checks, confidentiality, compliance, and identification prior to start
Pass/fail testing for Telemetry nurses includes EKG and medication knowledge with up to two attempts allowed
Candidates must be prepared for call responsibilities during the scheduled workweek
