Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Burns, Oregon

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position: Emergency Room Nurse
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Start Date: ASAP (from 4/27)
• Must be able to float between Emergency Room and MedSurg units as needed. Experience or ability to float to OB is a plus but not required.
• Weekend work required.
• Block scheduling may be accommodated depending on needs.
• Locals accepted.

Facility Information

• Critical access hospital
• Trauma Level 4
• Total staffed beds: 25
• Scrub color: Any preferred colors or patterns

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year

Additional Requirements

• Must complete background checks including 7-year history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG checks
• Must complete facility-specific documents including confidentiality agreement, HIPAA access guidelines, compliance and privacy attestation, and exemption forms if applicable
• Must provide 2 professional references for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 2 years of start)

Notes

• Housing arrangements should be researched prior to submission
• Request Time Off (RTO) must be approved at time of submission; not approved after offer
• Cannot guarantee every holiday off
• Scrub color is flexible

This position is suitable for nurses with at least 1 year of ER experience who are comfortable floating to MedSurg and working night shifts in a critical access hospital setting. First-time travel nurses are accepted.
