Description

Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician

Location: Westerville, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Work Schedule

  • Dayshift: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (07:00 AM – 5:30 PM), Monday through Friday (varied days)
  • Call: 14 days of call including 2 weekends
  • Call hours: Monday to Friday 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday 24/7

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, with experience within the last year
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Health and Compliance Requirements

  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of vaccine or approved exemption required
  • MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or immunity titer required
  • Fit Test: Required
  • Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start (titers not accepted)
  • Influenza Vaccine: Proof of vaccine or approved exemption required during flu season
  • Tuberculosis Screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA required; positive TB requires chest x-ray per regional guidelines
  • Varicella: Proof of vaccination or immunity titer required
  • Physical/Health Statement: Documentation of fitness to work within the last year required
  • Drug Screen: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (NO THC)

Background and Professional Screening

  • Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check within last 7 years
  • Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma
  • Exclusion screenings (EPLS, OIG) within past 30 days
  • Conflict of interest and confidentiality agreements required
  • Code of conduct form required
  • System access form to be completed one week before start
  • Standard employment eligibility verification (I-9)

Additional Notes

  • Skills checklist will be provided by the agency for clinical contractors
  • CORE exam (Joint Commission testing) must be current within one year
  • Color vision testing required

This position is suitable for experienced Interventional Radiology Technicians seeking a long-term assignment with a structured day schedule and call responsibilities. Compliance with comprehensive health, licensure, and background requirements is mandatory.
