Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel/Contract)
Location: Dayton, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift options: 36 or 48 hours
- Targeted patient ratio: 1:2
- Unit typically runs 36 beds
- Work involves telemetry, drips, and ventilators
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays
- Floating required: may float within specialty clusters and nearby campuses (within ~15 miles)
- Travel experience preferred but not required; first-time travelers accepted
- EPIC experience required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Additional Notes
- Ohio nursing license not required to be in hand at time of signing
- Overtime paid after 48 hours on 48-hour contracts
- Employer reserves the right to cancel shifts or contract with notice
- Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives
- Must complete medical questionnaire for respiratory protection prior to orientation
- Fingerprinting not required for this unit
- Candidate must submit all required documentation prior to start date
