Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Location: Snellville, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Patient Population

• Adults to Geriatrics

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty
• 1st time travelers are accepted

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Clinical Skills and Responsibilities

• Circulate procedures
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring

Work Environment

• Patient ratio: 3 rooms with 5 beds each
• Average daily census: 8-10 patients
• Unit systems used: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
• Scrub color provided by facility

Schedule and Work Conditions

• Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
• Weekend shifts: Every third weekend
• Floating: Yes, within facility and possibly to a sister campus, within scope of practice
• Call requirements: 10 call days per month
• Holiday work: Required to work major holidays if they fall during assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
• Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; delays may result in a 2-week pushback due to orientation scheduling

Orientation

• Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8 weeks, 19 hours for 19 weeks)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience with a minimum of 1 year, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring skills
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience

Notes

• Floating may include working at a sister campus within scope of practice
• Candidate will undergo clinical screening to determine fit before final approval
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Candidate must review and sign facility policies including code of conduct and dress/professional appearance policies prior to start
