MRI Technologist (Temporary)

Location: Brattleboro, Vermont
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Under limited supervision and the direction of the Director of Radiology, the MRI Technologist independently performs a variety of technical procedures related to Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This role requires independent judgment, initiative, and a comprehensive understanding of MRI safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Siemens MAGNETOM Sola Expert experience (required)
• Venipuncture certification or willingness to obtain
• Recent MRI skills checklist (within the last year)
• Two supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment
• Resume listing all departments worked in

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Toshiba and Cerner systems
• Prior travel experience highly preferred

• The position is located in a rural area with limited housing and public transportation options; candidates should plan accordingly.
• The Radiology Department provides 24/7 services including diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, interventional radiography, MRI, bone density, and mammography.
• The department emphasizes quality control, radiation safety, quality assurance, and continuing education.
