Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) (Days)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 10 weeks

Job Description

36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
Unit has 14 beds with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Use of robotics equipment including DaVinci Xi, Mako, Rosa
EMR system: EPIC
Orientation date provided

Required Qualifications

Minimum 24 months of current Operating Room experience
Proficient experience with DaVinci robotics
Proficient experience in Orthopedics including Total Joints and general surgery
Proficient Spine experience
EPIC EMR experience
Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Valid Driver’s License
Skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nurse discipline
Professional reference or performance evaluation within the last 24 months preferred

Additional Information

Prior travel experience within the previous 24 months is preferred
Scrub experience is a plus
Clinical interview pre-screening will be conducted

Note: This position requires working day shifts in the Operating Room.
