Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Shift length: 8.5 hours with a 30-minute lunch break
• Holiday weeks: 10-hour shifts to accommodate 40 guaranteed hours
• No weekends or on-call required
• Dress code: Scrubs (black pants, any top)
• First week onboarding hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Required Skills & Competencies

• Fully competent with Varian TruBeam linacs, Halcyon, and Aria version 15
• Preferred knowledge of Vision RT or OSMS (not required)
• Experience with TrueBeam, Halcyon, and Aria systems

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Ohio Radiation Therapist License
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy Technology
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager or formal leadership)
• Employment application and skills checklist required
• Unit-specific competency exams may be required
• Background checks including EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monitored monthly
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required annually

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• No on-call or weekend shifts expected.
• Variable shifts may be needed occasionally.
