Outpatient Physical Therapist

Location: West Frankfort, Illinois
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical function and quality of life.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure continuity of care.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to support ongoing recovery at home.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive clinical environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Knowledge of NIHSS
