Registered Nurse (Pre-op / PACU) - Contract Position

Location: Newport, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Position: Pre-op / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse
Schedule: 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts
On-call responsibilities required
Facility size: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in a rural area
Personal vehicle required due to limited public transportation
Supportive team to assist with transition into the community

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont
Minimum 5 years of recent experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (within the last year)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Location offers outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
Candidates should be prepared for a peaceful rural lifestyle with limited public transportation
Agency professionals must attend quarterly department education sessions
