Description

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Travel Position

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM), 3 shifts of 12 hours each

Job Description

Provide cardiopulmonary services as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
Follow approved protocols and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients.
Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Deliver medicated aerosols using medical compressed gas.
Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
Perform intubations and blood gas analysis.
Experience required in ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department (ED).
Minimal Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatrics experience needed, primarily to cover the ED.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Arizona
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Experience in an inpatient setting
ICU experience
General floors experience
Emergency Department (ED) experience
Minimal Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience
Minimal Pediatrics experience
