Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a newly reopened 16-bed Oncology Unit specializing in patients with various cancer diagnoses.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5.
- Specialize in the administration of chemotherapy.
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
- Work schedule includes holidays as required and every other weekend.
- Accepts 36 or 48 hours per week.
- The unit focuses on providing a compassionate, multidisciplinary approach to specialized nursing care for cancer patients, aiming to create an optimal healing environment for patients and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
Additional Information
- This is a patient-facing, clinical position.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: Meditech.
- Dress code: Solid navy scrub colors.
- Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals.
- Parking is available.
