Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Corsicana, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care for Labor and Delivery patients. Responsibilities include:

Utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
Demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care
Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
