Job Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse

Location: Ontario, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract (Part-Time)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Part-time ICU nursing position with a requirement to float to other ICU campuses if census drops to maintain hours.
Every Other Week (EOW) schedule required.
Time off requests limited to no more than 7 days; missed shifts must be made up or coverage found. On-call return within 1 hour if placed on-call.
Typical staffing ratio: 3 patients to 1 nurse.
Knowledge of medication scanning required.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in an Acute Care setting
