Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech
Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position: X-Ray Tech needed at Urgent Care locations.
- May float to other campuses within a 50-mile radius.
- Variable shifts including days and evenings, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Weekend work is required.
- When not performing X-rays, duties include rooming patients, taking vital signs, and updating medical/pharmacy charts.
- Start Date: ASAP
- First-time travelers accepted.
Work Hours
- Day shifts: 7 AM - 3:30 PM, 8 AM - 5 PM, 8 AM - 5:30 PM
- Evening shifts: 2 PM - 5 PM, 3 PM - 9 PM, 3:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in South Carolina
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician

- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Additional Requirements
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work (I-9 or attestation)
- Government-issued photo ID required during work hours
- Background check including 7-year criminal history and education verification

- Immunizations and health documents required, including:
- TB test or chest X-ray
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella vaccinations or exemptions
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
- Varicella vaccination or exemption
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (during flu season)
- COVID-19 vaccination or declination
- Physical exam within 1 year, updated annually
- Various competency exams and certifications as applicable
Certifications (as applicable)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – as applicable
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – as applicable
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – as applicable
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – as applicable
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment
Compliance and Documentation
- Must complete orientation and safety manual acknowledgement
- Must comply with facility-specific policies and testing requirements
- Required to carry photo ID at all times during shifts
- Must submit all required documentation prior to or at start of contract
Notes
- Locals within a 50-mile radius are accepted.
- Pending state license holders may start but must obtain license prior to working.
- Floating between multiple urgent care campuses may be required.
