Description

Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Location: Salem, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)


Job Description

  • Provide outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services.
  • Post-operative outpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.
  • Hand therapy experience is a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Oregon
  • A Bachelor's Degree (BS or MS) in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • Experience in an Outpatient setting

Required Certifications & Compliance

  • Current Physical Exam within one year of start.
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within one year of start.
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination or facility-specific declination.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination (required year-round).
  • 10-panel drug test within 90 days of start.
  • Criminal background check within 90 days of start (7-year search).
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and ongoing.
  • Education verification as applicable.
  • Valid driver’s license or state ID (passport acceptable if no driver’s license).
  • Badge photo with white background required at least 8 days prior to start.
  • Fit mask testing onsite within the first week of starting (unless exempt).

Experience

  • Outpatient Orthopedics experience required.
  • Post-op outpatient rehab experience preferred.
  • Hand therapy experience is a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • References: Two references within the last 2 years showing at least 1 year in a comparable specialty; one must be supervisory within the last 12 months.
  • Telemetry skills required for all RNs (not applicable here but noted for reference).

Work Environment

  • Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting.
  • Monday through Friday, standard business hours.
