Description
Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Day shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Call: 1-2 days per week and every third weekend
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Support Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) in a lab specializing in Cath, IR, Electrophysiology (EP), and Neuro procedures.
- Work schedule includes 10-hour day shifts with call responsibilities as noted.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Wisconsin
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
Experience
- Minimum years of specialty experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard Cath Lab Tech experience required.

Background and Screening Requirements
- 7-year background check including Social Security trace, county searches for all locations lived/worked/schooled in the last 7 years, nationwide sex offender check.
- Wisconsin Caregiver Screening search required.
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start date.
- Negative QGold TB test within 1 year of start (Chest X-Ray acceptable if within 60 days of start).
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days before start (instant tests not accepted). Marijuana positive test is not disqualifying.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March).
- Immunization requirements (or proof of immunity/vaccination series) for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Annual renewal of some certifications and competencies may be required.
Documentation and Compliance
- Photo for badge (passport-style, shoulders up, no filters).
- Signed confidentiality statement prior to start.
- Compliance checklist to be completed by agency representative once candidate is compliant.
- Dosimeter request form required if working in Imaging Department (not required for MRI Tech).
- Two professional references verified within 2 years of start (specific reference requirements apply for inpatient RNs, not applicable here).
- Annual skills checklist required.
Additional Notes
- Medication/pharmacology competency exams and color blindness testing may be required as applicable to the profession.
- Flu vaccine exemption forms must be completed if applicable.
