Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Description

Care for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, congestive heart failure (CHF)
Noninvasive ventilation support
Cardiothoracic surgery patients post-ICU
Administration of antiarrhythmic IV medications
Management of peripheral vascular compromise
33-bed cardiovascular care unit
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Stepdown Unit (SDU) nursing experience
Ability to float to Medical/Surgical or Emergency Room to cover Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVCU) and Med Surg holds
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oklahoma
Required certifications (specific certifications not listed, but must be current or active)
Flexibility with scheduling; no block scheduling
Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays

Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted terms
