Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Description
- Care for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, congestive heart failure (CHF)
- Noninvasive ventilation support
- Cardiothoracic surgery patients post-ICU
- Administration of antiarrhythmic IV medications
- Management of peripheral vascular compromise
- 33-bed cardiovascular care unit
- Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Stepdown Unit (SDU) nursing experience
- Ability to float to Medical/Surgical or Emergency Room to cover Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVCU) and Med Surg holds
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oklahoma
- Required certifications (specific certifications not listed, but must be current or active)
- Flexibility with scheduling; no block scheduling
- Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
