Job Opportunity: Antepartum Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night Shift (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care for antepartum and postpartum patients, including those requiring telemetry or continuous pulse oximetry monitoring.
• Manage patients with postpartum magnesium therapy and postpartum intrauterine fetal demise (PP IUFD).
• Must be proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system is required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last year.
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring.
• Postpartum nursing experience.
• Experience using the Epic electronic health record system.

Additional Information

• Parking permits are available for purchase but are not included as part of employment.
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgment required annually.
• Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training certificate required prior to start and updated annually.
• Ethics and compliance policies must be reviewed and acknowledged annually.
• Employment application and skills checklist required for all candidates.
• NIH Stroke Certification may be required depending on unit assignment; verify if applicable.

Patient Population

• Antepartum patients.
• Postpartum patients with telemetry or continuous pulse oximetry monitoring.
• Postpartum patients receiving magnesium therapy.
• Postpartum intrauterine fetal demise (PP IUFD) cases.
