Description
CV Tech (Radiology / Cardiology) - Travel/Contract
Location: Portland, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour days (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Call: Approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
Job Description
- Experienced in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience preferred.
- Candidates with Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) certification and scrub experience in all service lines (Cardiac, Neuro, etc.) will be accepted.
- Local travelers are accepted.
- Floating within the site and across the system is mandatory; refusal to float may result in contract cancellation.
- No Return to Office (RTO) in the first 2 weeks; maximum 7 days of RTO allowed.
- Travelers must complete any assigned education within one week of assignment.
- Low census mandatory cancellation requires notice 1.5 hours before shift start; one mandatory cancellation per two-week pay period allowed without penalty.

Required Certifications & Licenses
- Oregon State License (OBMI)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only (including AHA RQI and instructor cards)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cardiovascular Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of Cardiovascular Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references (supervisory or above, charge accepted) within 3 years of start.
- Must sign Floating Acknowledgement form prior to start.
- Completion of facility-specific policies and procedures review before starting.
Important Notes
- Scrub color guidelines vary by department; provided for X-Ray Tech/OR/IR/Cath Lab/PACU.
- Charting is done in Epic.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Contract requires flexibility to float as needed.
This position is ideal for a CV Tech with strong Cath Lab and Angio scrub experience seeking a 13-week travel contract in an acute care teaching hospital setting with a Level I Trauma center.
