Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Call: One night per week and one weekend every 4 weeks

Job Description

• Position involves working as a Cath Lab Angio Tech (with x-ray license) or Cath Lab Cardiovascular Tech/RCIS.
• Must be a licensed Radiology Technologist with ARRT-R certification or hold RCIS certification.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Travelers must complete any assigned education within one week of assignment.
• Low census mandatory cancellation requires cancellation 1.5 hours before shift start; personnel may be cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without penalty.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Washington.
• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• ARRT-R certification.
• ACLS certification (AHA only).
• BLS certification (AHA only).
• Radiology Technologist experience.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year prior to start (not required annually unless expiring during assignment).
• Negative TB test (PPD, Qgold, or Tspot) or chest x-ray if previously positive, within 1 year prior to start. TB questionnaire required annually.
• Immunizations or immunity documentation required for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (immune titer and 3-dose vaccine series or signed declination)
  • Varicella
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start or signed declination (Td vaccines not accepted).
• Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination required annually (October 1 – March 31).
• COVID vaccination documentation or declination required.
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (marijuana excluded for Washington facilities).
• Respirator medical clearance required annually unless no patient interaction.

Additional Requirements

• Must review facility policies and procedures prior to start.
• Floating acknowledgement form must be signed.
• Primary source verification required for certifications and licenses.
• NPI number required if working as OR/Surgical Tech First Assist (not applicable here).
• NIH Stroke Certification required annually if applicable (not specified for this role).

Work Environment and Expectations

• Variable days of the week within the 4x10 schedule.
• One night call per week and one weekend call every 4 weeks.
• Mandatory education completion within one week of assignment start.
