Operating Room Registered Nurse - Wyoming, Douglas

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (6:30 AM - 4:30 PM), 40 hours per week
• Call Requirement: On call one weekend every 4 weeks and one night per week; no floating
• Specialty: Registered Nurse with circulating experience required
• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of experience in specialty (no first-time travelers)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wyoming
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) circulating experience, with experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Emergency Contact Form (prior to start)
• Background check within 90 days of start, including SS trace, county searches for last 7 years, nationwide sex offender registry, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG checks (annual updates required)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year; if past positive, negative chest x-ray within 1 year
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
  • Varicella (titer, vaccine series, or history of chickenpox)
• 9 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific declination required during flu season (September 30 - March 31)
• Employment application and skills checklist (annual)
• Two professional references required for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 3 years)

Additional Information

• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement for this facility
• Facility-specific flu declination form must be completed if declining seasonal flu vaccine

This position requires a Registered Nurse with circulating experience in the operating room, able to work a 4x10 day shift schedule with on-call responsibilities. Candidates must meet all licensure, certification, and health documentation requirements prior to start.
