Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Seattle, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts of 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a high-risk, high-acuity, and fast-paced Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit with approximately 500-600 deliveries per month.
Float responsibilities include postpartum and antepartum care; may float to sister facilities providing Mother/Baby care.
Patient population includes midwifery clients, private OB patients, adult recovery services (substance recovery), and community care clinics.
Use of EPIC electronic medical records and electronic fetal monitoring is required.
Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines.
Unit includes 4 operating rooms and 31 beds/rooms.
Schedule is posted every 6 weeks and designed to meet unit needs, including working every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last year.
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
