Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - General
Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, Tuesday to Friday
Hours: Four 10-hour shifts per week (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Job Description
- Perform general ultrasound technology duties.
- Required registries:
- Vascular (RVT)
- Abdomen (ABD)
- OB/GYN
- Scrub color: Any solid matching tops and bottoms.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- Registries in Vascular (RVT), Abdomen (ABD), and OB/GYN.
- Experience as a Vascular Sonographer.
- Experience as an OB/GYN Sonographer.
Additional Information
- Onsite fit testing and AVADE training may be required if contract is extended.
- Facility requires passing a basic dysrhythmia exam with a minimum score of 84% (applicable to nursing staff; noted here for awareness).
- Missouri EDL search required within 30 days of start.
- Candidates must complete a facility-specific orientation quiz with a passing score of 84% or higher prior to start.
Summary
This is a 13-week travel contract for an Ultrasound Tech working night shifts in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The role requires multiple ultrasound registries, a minimum of 2 years of sonography experience, and compliance with extensive background, health, and certification requirements. First-time travelers are eligible to apply.
