Job Opportunity: RN Medical/Surgical Telemetry
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Hours: 36 hours per week, every other week rotation
Setting: Inpatient Hold with preference for ability to take Emergency Department patients
Job Description
- Provide nursing care on Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with inpatient hold ratios and acuity.
- Ability to manage Emergency Department patients is preferred.
Required Qualifications
Licensure and Education
- Valid RN license in Connecticut.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year.
- Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience.
Certifications (must be current and valid)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC).
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
