Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Setting: Inpatient Hold Unit (preference for ability to take Emergency Department patients as well)
Job Description
- Provide nursing care on a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit with inpatient hold ratios and acuity.
- May be required to manage Emergency Department patients.
Required Qualifications
Licensure and Education
- Valid RN license in Connecticut.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience.
- Telemetry experience must be within the last year.
Certifications (Must be current and valid)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC).
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
