Description

Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Setting: Inpatient Hold unit with patient acuity/ratios; preference for ability to take Emergency Department (ED) patients as well


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Connecticut
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification
  • TNCC certification

Job Details

  • Work primarily on inpatient hold units with acuity-based nurse-to-patient ratios
  • Night shift hours with 36 hours per week
  • Preference for candidates able to accept ED patients as part of assignment

Additional Notes

  • All required documents and certifications must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to or at onboarding
  • License and certification verifications must be current and dated within 30 days of assignment start
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

This position is suitable for experienced RNs with Medical/Surgical and Telemetry skills, comfortable working night shifts in an inpatient setting with potential ED patient care responsibilities.
