MRI Tech - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Portland, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Night shift, 4x10 hours (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM), Sunday through Wednesday
• Call: 2 shifts per month
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Start Date: May 3
• Floating: Mandatory within the site and across the system; refusal to float will result in contract cancellation
• Low Census Cancellation: Must cancel 1.5 hours before shift start; may be cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty
• Education: Travelers must complete any assigned education within one week of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Valid MRI Technologist license in Oregon (OBMI)
• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT MRI certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only (including AHA RQI and instructor cards)

Additional Requirements

• References: 2 professional references (supervisory or above) within 3 years of start
• Mandatory review of facility policies and procedures prior to start
• Signed Floating Acknowledgement required
• Competency exams required for all clinical candidates
• Primary source verification required for licenses and certifications

Notes

• This position requires working night shifts with a 4-day workweek of 10-hour shifts.
• Floating is mandatory and refusal will lead to contract termination.
• Candidates may be permitted to start with pending background checks on a case-by-case basis.
• Drug testing excludes marijuana for Washington facilities.
• All certifications must be AHA approved where applicable.
