Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology (Travel)

Location: Portland, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel


Position Overview

  • Role: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology
  • Shift: Days
  • Hours per Week: 48 hours (typically 9-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:30 or shifts from 07:00 to 17:30/14:30)
  • Weekend Hours: Call only, with a maximum of 1-2 weeknights per week and every 6th weekend (Friday–Sunday) on call
  • Float Requirements: None

Unit Information

  • Procedure Rooms: 3
  • Staffing Model: 2 technologists per procedure room, rotating between scrubbing and circulating during procedures
  • Equipment: Siemens imaging systems
  • EMR System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Maine
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT (R) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
  • Neuro experience, including stroke and neuro interventions

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Vascular Interventional (VI) certification preferred
