Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse

Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse
  • Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Schedule: Weekdays, minimum every other weekend and holidays
  • Option to flex to 4 shifts per week if needed (overtime billed after 48 hours)
  • Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech (experience preferred)
  • Locals are eligible to apply
  • First-time travelers considered if they have 3+ years of ER experience

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with ED experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current certifications issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Additional Information

  • Candidates must carry government-issued photo ID during hours of service
  • Must bring hard copies of all health documents on the first day
  • Prior travel experience is not required, but first-time travelers must have 3+ years ER experience
  • Performance evaluations required if previously worked with the agency over 1 year

This position offers a fast-paced ER nursing role on night shifts with a reputable travel contract in North Carolina.
