Description
Job Opportunity: RRT Pediatrics (Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts (1900-0730)
Hours per Week: 36 hours (includes every other weekend, holiday, and 1 call shift every 6 weeks)
Job Description
- Provide respiratory therapy services for both pediatric and adult patients.
- Work in an academic Level 1 trauma center or a hospital of similar size.
- Evening/night shift coverage with a consistent schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Wisconsin (WI RCP).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, including experience within the last year.
- Experience working with both pediatric and adult patients.
- Experience in an academic Level 1 trauma center or a hospital of similar size.
- Current certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
