Description
Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech
Location: Dallas, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5 days/week, 8 hours/day)
Call/Holiday Coverage: May be required as needed
Job Summary
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Position involves working within a 90-mile local rate area
- Typical workweek is 40 hours
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
Required Documentation
- Valid government-issued photo ID or passport (name must match all documentation)
- I9 or attestation form
- E-Verify or attestation form
- Background checks within 30 days of start including:
- 7-year county criminal background check for all locations lived/worked
- Sex offender search
- State police investigation if applicable
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
- Facility-specific forms including:
- Job description acknowledgment
- Hepatitis B declination if applicable
- Flu vaccine exemption forms if applicable
- NESF security form prior to start
- Passport-style photo for badge
Additional Information
- Fit test for mask completed onsite during orientation, updated annually
- Competency exams must be completed within 30 days of start date
- Some certifications and exams require annual renewal or updates
- Candidates may be required to cover call and holidays as needed
Notes for Candidates
- Verify unit-specific certification requirements with the job description before start
- Candidates are allowed two attempts for required competency exams; a third attempt may be allowed with client approval
- Immunization boosters may be required if titers are low or equivocal; tracking and collection of boosters may be managed during assignment
