Registered Nurse (RN) - West Virginia, Morgantown

Job Details

• Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: All shifts available
• Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Work Setting: Day surgery center within hospital (2 West) with 10 OR suites
• Case Volume: 80-120 outpatient cases per day
• Call Requirement: Yes, call shifts assigned twice per week after regular shift (4x10 hour shifts)
• Orientation: Biweekly start dates throughout the year

Specialty & Procedures

• Focus on ENT procedures including:

  • Endoscopic Sinus Surgery with Navigation
  • Septorhinoplasty
  • Septoplasty with turbinoplasty
  • Tympan mastoidectomies
• Strong experience required in sports orthopedics such as:

  • Hip, knee arthroscopies
  • MCL, ACL, PCL repairs
• Additional service lines include:

  • Ophthalmology (retina, cataracts, oculoplastics)
  • Orthopedics (major ortho, joints, spines, sports medicine, trauma)
  • Gynecology (laparoscopic, open)
  • Urology
• No robotics or extensive plastic/general surgery cases due to space constraints
• Fast-paced environment with quick turnover

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS Certification
• Strong ambulatory/outpatient surgical experience preferred

Additional Information

• Scrubs provided for OR
• Must meet submission requirements including:

  • Driver’s license address must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
  • Previous permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years
  • Previous travelers must have been gone for 2 years after 1 full year on assignment
• Travel teams must be submitted together
• Only 2 candidates submitted per opening; submissions may be held if position is full
