Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Inpatient Rehab

Location: Coxsackie, New York
Employment Type: Travel/Contract (Per Diem/Part Time)
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 hours per day)
Contract Length: Approximately 26 weeks

Job Description

Provide assessment and treatment for individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
Plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs.
Recommend and assist in obtaining additional necessary services.
May perform special education assessments and present findings to a Committee on Special Education.
May select and recommend alternative communication systems and teach their use.
May conduct research related to speech and language problems and present results.

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in New York
