Description

Supervisor/Charge Nurse - Nights

Location: Hamburg, Iowa
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 (block scheduling preferred: 6 on, 8 off)

Job Description

Serve as Supervisor/Charge Nurse for Medical-Surgical and Emergency Room units.
Act as a working supervisor, providing direct patient care in Med Surg and/or ER.

Required Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Any OB/Newborn Stabilization education or training is encouraged to submit.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
Experience in Charge Nurse roles
Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
