Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
• 1-hour lunch break
• Rotating weekends (working every 4th to 5th weekend)
• Weekend call on scheduled weekends plus 1-2 weekdays per week

Job Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms including TEE and intraoperative studies
• Perform vascular studies (only Registered Cardiovascular Technologists with RVT or RVS registry may perform independently; registry-eligible technologists must be supervised)
• Perform stress echocardiograms, transcranial Dopplers (TCDs), and transcutaneous oxygen monitoring (TCOMs) as applicable
• Conduct EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
• Cover call as needed (registry-eligible technologists may not cover vascular study calls)
• Assist with clerical and reception duties
• Complete all required documentation
• Maintain continuing education
• Keep work areas stocked, neat, and assist with equipment cleaning
• Assume supervisor responsibilities in absence of Registered Cardiovascular Technologist Supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Vascular Sonographer
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) registration in Vascular Technology (vascular registry required)
