PICC IV Therapy Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position
Location: Vancouver, Washington
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 - 07:00)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Work as part of the Vascular Access team responsible for:
- Ultrasound-guided IV placements
- Insertion of PICC lines and Midlines (night shift assists but does not place PICC lines)
- Central line dressing changes and lab draws
- Extravasation management and vein preservation
- Team supports multiple inpatient departments and responds to volcera calls
- Use of Site Rite, BD, and GE ultrasound machines
- Average daily census varies with hospital volume
- Weekend coverage every third weekend
- No on-call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
- Minimum 2 years of PICC experience, including experience within the last year
- Vascular Access experience
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
